5 ml of syrup contains 97.089 mg of a dry extract from Tilia Cordata Miller, Tilia Platyphyllos Scop., or Tilia Vulgaris Heyne, or their mixtures, inflorescentia (linden inflorescence) (6-7:1), of which 85% native extract. Extraction solvent: ethanol 40% V/V. Excipient with known effect: sucrose.

What is Lipomal syrup and what is it used for?

Lipomal syrup contains a dry linden extract, traditionally used as a mild diaphoretic agent (sweat inducer). The effectiveness of the product is based only on long-term use and experience.

Indications for use:

Traditionally, as a mild diaphoretic agent in febrile states. As a complementary drug in a common cold, throat inflammations, and cough.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients.

Special warnings and precautions for use:

If the fever persists for more than 3 days or exceeds 39°C, consult a doctor. Also see a doctor if dyspnoea or purulent secretion occurs.
Patients with rare hereditary disorders associated with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency should not use the medicinal product.
5 ml of the syrup contains 4 g of sucrose, that is 0.4 exchange of carbohydrate.
10 ml of the syrup contains 8 g of sucrose, that is 0.8 exchange of carbohydrate.
Do not use in diabetics.

Posology and method of administration

Dosage
Children 1-3 years old, after consulting a doctor, usually: 1 spoon (5 ml) of syrup 2-3 times a day.
Children 3-12 years old: 1 spoon (5 ml) of syrup 4-5 times a day.
Children over the age of 12 and adults: 1 tablespoon (10 ml) of syrup 3-4 times a day.
